The easiest way to get an indication of your level is to take a CEFR level test. At Universal English we can also assess your needs and help you choose the most appropriate course.

B1 is an intermediate level. You can communicate about familiar situations and everyday topics. B2 is upper-intermediate and allows you to communicate with greater fluency, range and confidence.

There is no single answer. Progress depends on your starting level, your goals, how regularly you study and how much English you use. Regular practice normally produces much better results than occasional intensive study.
